HONORED TO BE AN AMERICAN!
By Bill Agreste

I am truly honored to be an American.    I was fortunate to be born in America and I am the 3rd generation here.  Our family took roots in American when my Grandfather at the age of 13, along with 2 friends came here from Italy in the cargo hold of a ship.  There is no doubt for my grandfathers love of Italy, but he had a greater love, a heartfelt desire to become part of the "freedom rush" of immigrants coming to America.   These fine people from all nationalities, and from all walks of life were in a quest so powerful the would just abandon  their homeland for the chance to start their lives over, with only the clothes on their back and a few items in storage with them as they sailed across the sea to a land that would promise an equal opportunity for everyone, nothing more.      CONTINUED

PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN?
   Are you all hype?

Pride - How many Americans today fully understand the true meaning of supporting our country, our industry, our jobs and our future?   I fear that some may have come to believe that dedication to couintry is not by action but by words only.  Americans are what makes America the greatest place in the world to live and to be apart of.   Let us not forget what our forefathers believed in, so that we may preserve the the Great American Dream that was toiled and labored upon by those before us.
